Ähnlich verhält es sich in puncto beruflicher Bildung: Hier sehen 57 Prozent der Männer und 44 Prozent der Frauen einen persönlichen Gewinn durch das Internet.
Mit Blick auf die einzelnen Altersgruppen zeigt sich indes: Junge Nutzer von 14 bis 29 Jahren verbessern am häufigsten ihre Allgemeinbildung durch das Internet (71 Prozent). Für die bereits im Beruf stehenden 30- bis 49-Jährigen steht dagegen die berufliche Weiterbildung im Mittelpunkt. Ihnen hat das Internet zu 63 Prozent ein Wissens-Plus beschert.
Erfahrene Fachkräfte wiederum haben häufig spezifische Fragen, die sie häufig durch den Austausch in Fachforen und über ihre Kontakte in sozialen Netzwerken beantworten. Dabei mischen sich das Lernen am Arbeitsplatz, das häufig für aktuelle Projekte benötigt wird, und die gezielte Weiterbildung in der Freizeit.
